Bio:

Morgan de Bruit, captain of the Crimson Dawn navigates the margins of the law. Not an outright pirate, nor a smuggler; he nevertheless is acquainted with them. He finds profit in the territory bordering legality and illegality, residing on one side or the other, as circumstances require. Between times of merging in with the herd of ordinary commercial shipping, he will turn his hand to more dubious (and more lucrative) pursuits.

Currently he is considering a quieter life. Glory is less appealing, fortune is his uppermost concern, having sustained some severe losses. He is minded to merge in with all those other ships carrying nice, safe, boring cargoes for a while, as the more raffish members of a new crew lead the other ordinary seamen astray. The pendulum swings.
